Andy Warhol Exhibit NYC

If you have time in your busy fashionable life this coming weekend, why not check out a small art exhibit in Chelsea. Now through December 12th, you can take a gander at intimate Andy Warhol photographs on Display @ Danziger Projects.

The portrait shots of famous athletes is entitled Greatness: Andy Warhol Polaroids Of Sports Champions.  The photographs were taken in 1977 by Andy Warhol, who used the Big Shot camera to give the tiny images an intimate, soulful feel.  These portraits were taken at a time when many of the sitting subjects had larger than life personalities and fame. They were modern day gladiators...gods and goddesses of war.  That's what makes this exhibit a true New York City gem.
