{bogle pepperseed and dutty wine for me gal}

Elisa Palomino Fall 2010 RTW

I LOVED this collection! Elisa Palomino debuted her first collection at NYFW and it was...well it was friggin' beautiful!  But this is no surprise as the Spanish designer spent years at Galliano, Dior and DVF.  Viewing this collection was like walking into a vintage costume and antiques shop...or visiting a fine arts museum.  I appreciate the influences, the deconstructed Marie Antoinette chignons, the early 20th century Parisienne and American flapper style of dress woven into Asian culture. IT IS early 20th century Asia which was heavily influenced by the Parisienne and American flapper culture at the time.   This collection was the debut du jour of New York Fashion Week.

Definitely an eyestylez fav
